A. Oil-Drilling Grade CMC¡¯s Function:
1.CMC-containing mud makes a well wall a thin, hard and low-permeability filter cake to reduce water loss. 
2.Adding CMC into slurry will endow the drill with low initial gel strength, making the slurry give off the gas inside and abandoning the waste into the slurry pit.
3.Same as other suspending dispersion, the drill slurry has an existing period which will be stable and extended after adding CMC.
4.Slurry with CMC is seldom affected by the bacterium and requires no high PH value or corrosion resistant.
5.The wall-cleaner treatment chemicals with CMC can resist the contamination of all kinds soluble salts.
6.Slurry with CMC has excellent stability and will still reduce the filtration loss under 150¡æ or above.

B.INTER Brand CMC¡¯s Features In Oil-Drilling Industry  
1.High degree of substitution, good uniformity of substitution£¬high viscosity, low dosage, improve the performance of drilling mud.
2.Good resistance to humidity ,salt and alkali, suitable for fresh water, sea water and saturated brine slurry.
3.Stabilize soft soil structure and prevent collapse of wall of a well.
4.Suitable for a wide range of mud systems, unstable solid content mud system.

C. Application characteristics of GREAT WALL MINERAL's oil drilling Dedicated CMC & PAC
1.It has high water-loss control ability. Specially PAC is a kind of highly effective filtration reducer, only added at a low dosage, it can control the water-loss to a high level without affecting the other functions of the mud;
2.It has  good temperature and salt resistance ability. It can keep better performance of water-loss reducing and rheology behavior under certain salinity. The viscosity is stable when it¡¯s dissolved in salt water and particularly suitable for used in offshore drilling and deep well drilling.
3.It can well control the rheology behavior of the mud and has good thixotropy. It is suitable for any water-based mud.
4.PAC used in cementing fluid can prevent the fluid from entering into the pores and cracks.
5.It can keep good performance in 2% KCL solution which must be added in pressure filtrate. Pressure filtrate prepared using PAC has good dissolution ability and sand-carrying ability. It is easy to formulate and fast to congeal. The pressure filtrate effect is remarkable when it is used in the stratum with hyposmolality.
